Dr Shermin Lee is a registered specialist in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMS). She obtained her Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Adelaide, Australia in 2001 and graduated with distinction in Master of Dental Surgery (OMS) from the University of Hong Kong in 2006. She later obtained a PhD from Radboud University of Nijmegen, The Netherlands in 2009. Upon graduation, she worked at the National Dental Centre and was a consultant from 2010 to 2014, contributing to teaching and research.  She was Associate Editor for the Proceedings of Singapore Healthcare involving research and publications. She was also appointed Clinical Lecturer at the Faculty of Dentistry,  National University of Singapore during this period.

She is an existing fellow of the Academy of Medicine Singapore, a member of the Singapore Dental Association and the Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. She was President of the Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Singapore from 2009-2010.

Her special interests are in dentoalveolar surgery and in dental implants. She loves her work and interacting with patients. Her hobbies are photography and appreciating nature and landscapes.
